Dear BCABA membership:
Please be advised that the date for the BCABA AGM has been changed.
New date: SATURDAY OCTOBER 23, 2010
Time: 1pm
Location: 1237 Juno Street, Victoria BC
We are still accepting nominations for all positions on the Board of
Directors. Please note that you can nominate yourself, and that you
do NOT have to be in attendance at the AGM to be voted in; however
only those at the AGM can cast a vote.
If you are interested in helping to make the BCABA an effective
voice for bariatrics in BC, show your support by letting Kris
(president@bcaba.net) know:
1) if you are willing to serve on the board;
2) that you will be attending the meeting in Victoria on October 23;
3) or that you are unable to attend, but that you are interested in
helping out in our efforts.
The AGM is not only where we will elect our board, but it is also an
important way for us to devise our strategy for the coming year.
Together we will answer the question: How can we push for better
access to appropriate care for obese British Columbians? Please
bring your energy and your ideas!

We encourage all members to attend if they are able. The members in
attendance will elect the executive, so even if you do not run for a
position your vote still counts. Memberships can be purchased prior
to the meeting as well.
